dogjournal: DOG FOLLOWS CYCLISTS ON AN EPIC 2,700 MILE JOURNEY - “He ran with the group for 24 days straight, covering roughly 96 miles a day and climbing 12 mountains without ever falling behind.” A dog, nicknamed Xiaosa, encountered a group of bicyclists who fed him some food.  He liked them so much that he continued to follow the group and ended up running with them for 2,700 miles across China.  Rere’s more from wtop.com: After one of the cyclists gave him food, the dog ran alongside the group for its 2,735-mile journey across the country, from Sichuan province to Tibet…Yong said there were about 300 cyclists on Highway 318. Most of them could not ride to the end and hitchhiked buses halfway. However, Xiaosa and another three cyclists made it the entire way. This has to be one of the most epic canine adventures ever.  Apparently Xiaosa ran 30-40 miles a day and was carried on one of the bikes when he got tired.  However, the best news is that one of the cyclists will be adopting Xiaosa.   Click here for the full story and to watch a short video.
